Depending on your needs, you can use specific areas of the library (quiet study room, group study rooms) or the various collections in science and technology, education sciences and leisure.

The Saint-Jérôme University Library offers the Hypatie room, a room dedicated to innovative teaching methods, equipped by the Faculty of Science as part of the SDN9 (Digital Master Plan). Teachers can reserve it for their classes directly in ADE, with priority given to teachers who use mixed teaching methods requiring different seating arrangements for students (in groups, in a traditional classroom layout, in a semi-circle, etc.).

The room is equipped with an interactive whiteboard, forty mobile chairs, display screens, movable partitions, audiovisual equipment, and Lego® Serious Play® kits (funded by the CVEC) to facilitate reflection and problem solving.

Please note: non-amU members can register with the library via this link (https://catalogue.univ-amu.fr/cgi-bin/koha/opac-memberentry.pl) prior to their first visit in order to facilitate their access to the campus.
When registering, please make sure to select the Saint-Jérôme library in the form.

The Saint-Jérôme library offers up-to-date collections in all fields of science and technology, adapted to the training courses offered by the schools and laboratories of the Pôle de l'Etoile and the collections linked to teaching at the Inspé de Marseille.

The Inspé collections are adapted to the teaching, competition preparation and research carried out on the Inspé de Marseille Saint-Jérôme site. They provide reference documentation mainly for teaching, education and training professionals. Rich collections of children's literature are also available to readers. The " BU Express " service enables users to borrow documents from the BU Inspé libraries of Digne, Avignon and Aix.

Inspé library works in partnership with Canopé de l'académie d'Aix-Marseille, a network for educational creation and support. Through this partnership, library users have access to the documentary spaces and services of the Canopé network, as well as to its range of digital resources for education (provision and support for use).

The general knowledge room offers :

  • More than sixty press titles, popularization and information magazines.
  • Over 7,000 books, including novels, art books, history books, comic strips and DVDs.
  • The Babel Stand for learning foreign languages.

Examination books have been available online since 2012.
