Saint-Charles library has been extensively modernized in recent years. Work in adapted, user-friendly premises, and benefit from a wide range of services: 348 seats, 61h30 weekly opening hours, multimedia space, wifi coverage, loan of tablets, group study room, photocopying and printing, equipment for the visually impaired, etc.

The collections at the Saint-Charles library are tailored to the courses offered on campus: Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences.
The library also offers a wide range of general culture and leisure activities (training-employment, novels, comics, DVDs...).
Special features
Built in 1958 by architect Fernand Pouillon, Saint-Charles library is classified as a "20th century heritage site" by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication.
As the historic library of the Faculty of Science, Saint-Charles library has a heritage reserve and has been taking part in the "Journées du Patrimoine" (Heritage Days) since 2011. One of its most remarkable collections, the Flore du Docteur Poucel, was recently digitized and is now freely available for consultation.
