Partnership
Inspé library works in partnership with Canopé de l'académie d'Aix-Marseille, a network for educational creation and support. Through this partnership, library users have access to the documentary spaces and services of the Canopé network, as well as to its range of digital resources for education (provision and support for usage).

The collections of the Inspé library of Aix-en-Provence are adapted to the teaching, preparation for competitive examinations and research carried out on the Inspé d'Aix-en-Provence site. They provide reference documentation for teaching, education and training professionals, mainly in the arts, humanities, languages and social sciences.
A general culture collection (novels, comics, DVDs) and rich collections of children's literature are also available to readers.

Special features
The Inspé library of Aix is responsible for the preservation of the "Louise Michel" collection, drawn from the collections of the former teacher training colleges of the Aix-Marseille academy. It includes several thousand works dating from the end of the 17th century to the 1970s: works on schools, pedagogy, didactics, epistemology, old editions of textbooks, maps, photographs...
