Guyanese playwright Matilda Pierre presents a reading of excerpts from her first one-woman show. Her autobiographical monologue combines childhood memories, shattered dreams and the reconquest of freedom. With humor and gravity, she recounts the social, intimate and identity-related obstacles that have shaped her, but also the joy of having found her voice.
In partnership with Théâtre Antoine Vitez.
