Come to the first event in the " Truth in Question: Understanding the Mechanisms of Misinformation " series offered by the libraries in November-December 2023: on November 9 at 6 p.m., as part of the ciné-club will screen Brian de Palma's Blow out.
Synopsis : One evening, in a park, Jack Terry, a sound engineer, is recording ambiences for a film. Suddenly, he hears the sound of a car coming at high speed. A tire bursts. The mad vehicle smashes through the parapet and falls into the river. Jack dives in and rescues a young woman, Sally. But the driver is already dead...
The screening will be followed by a talk by Jean-Michel Durafour, university professor of film aesthetics and theory at Aix-Marseille University.
