To mark International Day of Women and Girls in Science on February 11, the BUs of Medicine and Pharmacy are showcasing women who are all too often invisible in the history of the medical sciences.
Through a series of portraits, this exhibition sheds light on scientists who are little known to the general public, yet whose actions have made a major contribution to the development of medicine: Agnodice, Hildegarde de Bingen, Virginia Apgar... A selection of books accompanies the portraits presented. The public can also test their knowledge of female scientists and their contributions with two accompanying games.
To be found on the 2nd floor of the BU Medicine, then in the BU Pharmacy.
