Fenouillères library: In celebration of the European Heritage Days, the Fenouillères University Library invites you to tour the building and its heritage collection.

This will be an opportunity to highlight the Fenouillères University Library—a structure of glass, stone, and concrete that has been open to the public since 2017. Come discover its architecture and how it operates during a guided tour organized by the librarians. You’ll also have the chance to explore some of the treasures of our written heritage preserved in the heritage collection, which will be open to the public for this special occasion.

Medicine and Dentistry library: to mark the 2026 European Heritage Days, the Health University Libraries and the Association of Friends of Marseille’s Medical Heritage are joining forces to introduce you to two of Aix-Marseille University’s heritage treasures: the Faculty of Medicine’s council chamber and the university library’s heritage collections. Following an overview of the history of medicine illustrated by the large sycamore bas-reliefs carved by Séraphin Gilly, you will discover rare and valuable documents from your library’s reserves.

Saint-Charles library: to mark the 2026 European Heritage Days, we are offering an immersive tour of the Saint-Charles University Library, which has been awarded the ‘Remarkable Contemporary Architecture’ label: take a look behind the scenes of the building, designed by Fernand Pouillon, discover its place in the architect’s career, and come andadmire a selection of heritage documents from the library’s reserves. Six 45-minute tours are available; booking is essential:
