The quota of articles eligible for publication free of APC (Article Processing Charges), from which we benefit under our reading and publication agreement with the publisher Wiley, will soon be exhausted.
Two scenarios will apply until December 2025:
- For articles submitted to "hybrid" journals: publication will remain free of charge, but the article will not be published in open access on the publisher's website.
- For articles submitted to "gold" journals: publication will be possible only after payment of the APC by the corresponding author's research structure.
In concrete terms, from mid-October 2025, publication fees for articles submitted to "gold" journals may be invoiced by the publisher.
Please note that the national agreement is currently being renegotiated for 2026-2028. The a priori model adopted by the board of directors of the Couperin national consortium should exclude the payment of APCs for "gold" journals: should this be the case, we recommend that you be particularly vigilant in the choice of journals to which you submit your work.
We will keep you informed of the outcome of the negotiations as soon as it is known.
We remind you that amU benefits from other agreements for publication; the list is kept up to date at the following address: https: //bu.univ-amu.libguides.com/openaccess/remises-apc
