Aix Marseille Université,Inserm and IRD, as part of the French National Chapter of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA*), and with the collaboration of amU's Mission Interdisciplinarité(s), are organizing a plenary session devoted to the assessment of inter- and transdisciplinary research:
- Wednesday, April 29, 2026 (1:00-6:00 pm) and Thursday, April 30, 2026 (8:15 am-12:00 pm)
- on the Saint-Charles campus in Marseille
Program and registration (free and compulsory): https://coarafrance.sciencesconf.org
Structured into two half-days, the meeting aims to nurture collective reflection on evolving assessment practices in inter- and trans-disciplinarity.
The first half-day will be devoted to a shared diagnosis of the transformations underway, crossing reference frameworks, scientific policies and evaluation practices, while the second will take the form of workshops devoted to different levels of evaluation (individual, collective, ex-ante and ex-post projects) in order to identify benchmarks and useful tools to support evaluators.
* CoARA is a European initiative that aims to move research evaluation practices towards more qualitative, responsible approaches that are adapted to the diversity of scientific activities.
